Manufacturing Process

1. Raw Material Selection

  • High-quality non-alloy carbon steel is used.
  • The steel is tested for chemical composition to meet EN 10255 specifications.

2. Forming Process

  • Seamless Pipes: Manufactured through hot rolling, where a solid billet is heated and pierced to create a hollow tube.
  • Welded Pipes: Cold or hot-rolled steel strips are bent into a cylindrical shape and welded using high-frequency induction welding (HFIW) or submerged arc welding (SAW).

3. Heat Treatment (If Required)

  • Pipes may undergo normalizing to refine the grain structure and enhance mechanical properties.
  • This process improves toughness, ductility, and strength.

4. Surface Finishing

  • Pipes can be supplied in different finishes:
    • Black (Uncoated): Without any external coating.
    • Galvanized: Hot-dip galvanization for corrosion resistance.
    • Varnished: With a protective coating to prevent rust.

5. Threading & End Finishing (If Required)

  • Pipes can be threaded at both ends as per EN 10226 standards for easy coupling.
  • Ends can be plain, grooved, or beveled based on application needs.

Application

  • Plumbing and Water Supply
  • Fire Protection Systems
  • Gas and Air Transmission
  • Construction and Structural Applications
  • HVAC and Mechanical Applications
  • Oil and Petrochemical Industry
  • Agricultural and Irrigation Systems
