Steel Reducer
A Steel Reducer is a type of pipe fitting used in piping systems to connect two pipes of different diameters. It serves to reduce the size of the pipe while maintaining the system’s integrity and flow properties. Steel reducers are widely used in industries like oil and gas, petrochemical, power plants, and water treatment.
What Are Eccentric and Concentric Reducers?
Concentric Reducers

Concentric reducers are designed with a symmetrical shape resembling a cone. They are commonly used in vertical piping systems, where fluids or gases must transition smoothly between pipes of differing diameters. The centerline of the larger end and smaller end remains aligned, making them ideal for applications requiring balanced flow distribution.
Eccentric Reducers

Eccentric reducers have an asymmetrical design, with the centerline of one end offset. This makes them suitable for horizontal piping systems to prevent the accumulation of gases or solids. They are primarily used in systems prone to airlocks or where drainage and low-pressure drops are critical.
Key Features and Benefits
- High Strength: Manufactured using premium-grade steel for durability in demanding environments.
- Corrosion Resistance: Ideal for harsh conditions, including high moisture and corrosive media.
- Versatile Design: Available in both eccentric and concentric configurations for diverse requirements.
- Customizable Dimensions: Tailored sizes and schedules to fit your pipeline specifications.
- Smooth Flow Transition: Reduces turbulence and minimizes pressure losses.
