What is Galvanized Steel Pipe?
Galvanized steel pipes are carbon steel pipes that have been coated with zinc via a process known as galvanizing. This zinc coating protects against moisture, oxygen, and other environmental elements, effectively preventing rust and corrosion.
There are two common galvanization methods:
- Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG): Pipes are submerged in molten zinc to form a thick, durable zinc layer.
