Galvanized Steel Coil
Galvanized Steel Coil
Galvanized Steel Coil is a carbon steel sheet coated with zinc on both sides by a continuous hot-dip process. This zinc coating protects the base metal from corrosion and extends the product’s service life. At Emirerri Steel, we offer premium-quality galvanized coils suitable for construction, automotive, appliances, and general fabrication industries.
Key Features:
- Corrosion Resistance: Long-lasting protection against rust and oxidation.
- Excellent Formability: Easy to bend, stamp, and fabricate.
- Weldable & Paintable: Compatible with various welding and painting techniques.
- Durable Finish: Resistant to harsh environmental conditions.

Galvanized Steel Coil Standards
Type of Galvanized Steel Coil
- Hot-Dip Galvanized (GI): Steel is immersed in a molten zinc bath, resulting in a thicker, more lasting coating with better corrosion resistance.
- Electro-Galvanized (EG): A thinner zinc layer is applied via electrolysis, offering a smoother finish suitable for aesthetic applications but with less corrosion resistance compared to hot-dip.
- Galvannealed (GA): Heat treatment of hot-dip galvanized steel to generate a zinc-iron alloy coating that improves weldability and paintability.
- Other Variants: Zinc-aluminum-magnesium coatings (e.g., PosMAC) or Galvalume (zinc-aluminum alloy) for enhanced performance in specific environments.
Applications:
- Roofing & Cladding Sheets
- Ducting & HVAC Systems
- Steel Furniture
- Electrical Panels
- Automotive Panels & Parts
- Agricultural Equipment
- Home Appliances
